I received several of the new FR Spring 2010 ladies over the past several weeks, but only had a few hours this weekend to finally debox a select few.  I received the new Monos: Disclosure, Dreamscape and Enigmatic.  I decided to debox and take a few quick photos of Dreamscape because I didn't expect to like her as much as I do:

I love, love, love this new print ad from Chanel:

It's feminine, elegant, has the classic Chanel black with a striking hint of color from the flowers. It's simply...perfection.

Sue Wong's designs are inpsired by vintage 1920's and 1930's fashion, but with her own modern styling.

Her dresses have a wonderful feminine flair and my favorites are her lovely flappereque style cocktail dresses.

The new 2010 Spring Salvatore Ferragamo ads are elgant and channel the classic elegance of Grace Kelley and Prince Ranier of Monaco:

One of the most famous vintage stores in the LA area is The Way We Wore on La Brea.  Owned by Doris Raymond, the store offers some spectacular finds and is frequented by stars as well as us normal folk.

I am planning to make a pilgrimage to the store later this month and will share some info and photos from the store.

In the meantime you can check out the Way We Wore's new redesigned website and new blog...

This week was a pretty insane work week for me that left little time for any new doll photos or site updates.  However, I did finally manage to go through my photos from a week ago when I did a little Film Noir style shoot with my Diamond Society Eugenia and Black Onyx Veronique.  They have similar coloring, but a very different style.

HS Eugenia is a high class Lady that is definitely one of my my new all time favorites FR gals.

Vernonique has a "Bond Girl" look that is very sexy.  Her silver hair is stunning and her eyes shimmer.

You will find more photos of these gorgeous Dames in the FR gallery.

It was kind of a big fashion weekend with both the Integrity Toys 2010 Toy Fair doll announcements followed by the Academy Awards tonight. The Best Actress and Supporting Actress nominees mostly ruled the the night in their fabulous gowns.

Here were my favorites:

Anna Kendrick in Elle Saab Couture

Anna Kendrick, Best Supporting Actress Nominee for "Up in the Air" wore one of my favorite gowns of the night.  The pale pink draping Elle Saab Couture gown looked extremely feminine and elegant with exquisite tailoring.
