It was kind of a big fashion weekend with both the Integrity Toys 2010 Toy Fair doll announcements followed by the Academy Awards tonight. The Best Actress and Supporting Actress nominees mostly ruled the the night in their fabulous gowns.
Here were my favorites:
Anna Kendrick in Elle Saab Couture
Anna Kendrick, Best Supporting Actress Nominee for "Up in the Air" wore one of my favorite gowns of the night. The pale pink draping Elle Saab Couture gown looked extremely feminine and elegant with exquisite tailoring.

Saturday afternoon was the anxiously awaited Webinar during which Integrity announced their initial 2010 releases. Overall it went really well with no major technical difficulties. I really enjoyed the format and would like to see Integrity use it again for future releases. As usual, Alain and Carol were gracious hosts as Jason, Vaughn and company presented each of the new lines in a classy Power Point type slideshow presentation.
From what was shown in today's initial offerings, the entire Integrity team is really on track to completely outdo themselves in 2010! The new ITBE Roma ladies are fun and lovely, the re-desinged Dynamite girls hip and chic, the Poppy Parker gals only increasing our adoration, the FR Foundation collection offering both handsome new Homme dolls and gorgeously fierce new ladies and the NuFace offerings of the Foundation collection brilliantly re-inventing some of our favorite characters. Of course, there was also the mention of the eventful return of Veronique later this spring... I have to particularly give kudos to Jason for the to-die-for new Monogram ladies who payed homage to "Breakfast at Tiffany's" with their amazing class, beauty and style!!
Many will be posting pictures of the entire collection which can be found in my Integrity 2010 Toy Fair gallery. If you would like to see my favorite picks from each line click "Read More" below...

I am a huge fan of Craig Ferguson and his Late Late Show. Not only is he incredibly funny and intelligent, but he is also (I think) one of the best interviewers on television. So, this week, he decided to experiment with a new format. He did not have an audience and did not do his regular opening monologue and funny skits. Instead, he simply sat down to talk with the fascinating Stephen Frey. The results were pretty brilliant:

Last night we met friends for cocktails at the Sunset Tower Hotel which is a place I have been wanting to go for a very long time. It is one of the great vintage Art Deco buildings in the LA area and was recently rennovated.

If you didn't catch the free skate that won Kim Yu-Na the Gold in Vancouver, here she is skating the same routine (with one small mistake she did not make during her Olympic performace) at the 2009 Ladies Grand Prix competition.
Kim Yu-Na's Free Skate/Long Program
I was not familiar with her or her skating prior to the Olympics. I was routing for the US ladies in Vancouver, but Kim's strength, grace and talent totally blew me away and she absolutely deserved to win gold. Again, her costume is stunning. I love the strong royal blue with elegant crystal details.

Skater Yu-Na Kim has been nicknamed "Queen" by her home country South Korea. I happened to catch her stunning short program in the Winter Olympics last night and she was definitely Queen of the ice. Unfortunately, her actual Olylmpic performance is nearly impossible to come by, so this is her 2009 Short Program at the Ladies Gran Prix. Both the skating and her outfit are gorgeous.
